MECHANICAL MOVEMENT RING // INTEGRATED WAFER INLAY
Price range: 59,00 € through 299,00 €
// CONCEPT & RECONSTRUCTION
Positioned at the boundary between obsolete analog precision and microscopic computation, this wearable relic deconstructs the physical timeline of modern machinery. Authentic mid-century mechanical watch calibres are stripped of their outer casings, exposing bare gear trains, oscillating balance wheels, and synthetic ruby jewel bearings to direct physical touch.
Recessed within the mainspring barrel seat is a precision-cut authentic silicon microchip wafer die. The microscopic architectural grids of the integrated circuit generate iridescent optical diffraction under ambient light, establishing a stark, cold-blooded aesthetic dialogue between physical mechanical friction and solid-state digital memory.
// CRAFTSMANSHIP & DETAILS
- Deconstructed Mechanical Anatomy: Hand-curated authentic mechanical calibres showcasing exposed escapements, winding pinions, and balance springs frozen in sculptural suspension.
- Integrated Silicon Core: Genuine microchip wafer slice inlaid into the circular gear bed, producing prismatic light interference across microscopic etching matrices.
- Industrial Steel Mounting: Secured onto an adjustable, hypoallergenic surgical-grade stainless steel band engineered for tactile resilience and daily ergonomic fit.

Putting a microchip into an old watch movement is a pretty cool idea, My everyday ring 💍 now

I riflessi arcobaleno sul wafer di silicio sono pazzeschi sotto la lampada da scrivania
Lou –
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It looks like an excavated industrial artifact rather than conventional jewelry
Jules Meyer –
Got the ring Last week, Sits really well on my finger, Normal daily wear

Really like the combination of an industrial age mechanical movement and an information age chip. Very cool idea.
