THE NATURE OF OUR CRAFT

Every MACAROMATIC piece is an experimental artifact, individually handcrafted, altered, and assembled by hand in limited batches.

Because of our hands-on assembly and the integration of diverse, reclaimed, and engineered materials, no two pieces are identical. Subtle variances in texture, coloration, symmetry, and finish are natural outcomes of individual craftsmanship and are essential to the singular character of each object.

MATERIAL & CARE GUIDELINES

Our objects combine precision engineering, textile manipulation, and delicate components. To maintain structural integrity and visual longevity, observe the following care instructions:

  • Vintage, Mechanical & Hardware Parts
    • Pieces featuring vintage mechanical movements, exposed micro-components, or industrial hardware must be kept away from water, high humidity, and strong magnetic fields. Hardware will naturally develop a worn patina over time through contact with skin oils and ambient air. Store separately in a dry, enclosed pouch when not worn.
  • 3D Printed & Resin Components
    • Select elements are produced using specialized additive manufacturing (3D printing) followed by manual post-processing. Subtle layer lines, micro-textures, or minute support interface marks are intrinsic to this digital-to-physical process. Protect 3D elements from excessive heat, intense direct sunlight, heavy impact, and harsh chemical solvents (such as acetone or alcohol), which may cause structural distortion or surface degradation.
  • Braided Elements, Cords & Textiles
    • Hand-woven cords, custom-braided cables, and reworked textiles should be shielded from sharp edges and abrasive friction to avoid fraying or snagging. Textile components are not water-resistant. Do not machine wash, submerge, or wring. For surface dust or light marks, gently spot-clean using a slightly damp microfiber cloth and allow to air dry naturally away from direct heat.
  • Organic, Shell & Delicate Accents
    • Organic elements and specialized surface treatments are sensitive to reactive agents. Put on your accessories after applying perfumes, hairsprays, lotions, or hand sanitizers, and never wear them while swimming, exercising, or bathing.
  • General Maintenance
    • Wipe surfaces clean using only a dry, non-abrasive cloth. Never use ultrasonic cleaners or abrasive polishing compounds, as they will disrupt manual finishes and delicate bonds.
TERMS, RETURNS & REFUND DISPENSATION

Each MACAROMATIC artifact constitutes an experimental study in material tension, fabricated through localized manual intervention and calibrated mechanical components. The following framework governs post-acquisition dispositions:

  • Temporal Window & Archival Petitions: Formal intent for return repatriation must be communicated via electronic dispatch to [email protected] strictly within a temporal perimeter of 14 calendar days subsequent to verified carrier conveyance. Following diagnostic validation, bespoke dispatch protocols and intake coordination coordinates shall be rendered.
  • Somatic Stasis & Structural Integrity: Eligible artifacts must inhabit an absolute uncompromised stasis—wholly unmarred by biological wear, olfactory contamination, liquid contact, or laundering degradation. All secondary accoutrements, fibrous tags, and serial interface elements must persist in unbroken continuity; severance or manipulation of tamper-evident structural seals constitutes irreversible acceptance of the artifact.
  • Bespoke Exclusions: Commissioned projects, anatomical dimension adaptations, customized structural revisions, and all speculative made-to-order deliverables exist as non-fungible artistic executions and are categorically defined as Final Sale, excluded from restitution.
  • Inherent Material Deviations: Micro-topological variations, additive printing striations, incidental tooling marks, and atmospheric oxidative patinas are intrinsic ontological signatures of craftsmanship and cannot be cited as defect-based justifications for revocation.
  • Logistical Subvention & Custodial Surcharge: Transit disbursements for repatriation are incumbent solely upon the consignee via tracked, signature-mandated carriage. To amortize intake processing, restorative steam purification, and inventory re-archiving, an invariant administrative fee of €15 will be deducted from the total refund amount.
  • Custodial Adjudication & Fiscal Restitution: Following physical receipt and technical telemetry inspection (concluded within 5–7 business days), validated restitution balances will be disbursed automatically to the primordial original payment method within 7–10 standard business days. Unclaimed consignments or uncoordinated parcel refusals remain unilaterally bound by the €15 administrative retention.
